This is one of the hikes that my friend's cat went on - which was awesome. It tested our endurance when we got totally rained out towards the end. It was fun climbing over the remaining snow and, even though we got soaked to the bone, we still stayed warm by maintaining a brisk pace.

The lake was gorgeous and surrounded by a dense fog. When we got to the end of the trail, it began to rain and, on the way back, we took a leisurely pace. The trail loops around the lake and, then, returns you the way you came. The tree cover kept us mostly dry.
